False Alarm

Tonight, our condo's fire alarm went off, the beeping sound is really loud that we have to evacuate the apartment. This is like the second time within the year already, I am not happy about it. Conrad grabbed the baby and left first so I can gather some other stuff. I kind of panic not sure what to grab, my purse, of course, Conrad has grabbed our passports, I was searching for the phone. Quickly, I also grabbed our Baby Bjorn with me. Many residents are already out there on the sidewalk, four fire trucks are down the street. The fire alarms are quite loud, I have dadda covered her ears, so it wouldn't scare her too much. She actually felt asleep in the chaos. Our upstair neighbor also have their two months old son out there too, well, she packed his diaper bags, and it just dawned on me that I forgot the diaper bags. Hopefully it won't be needed. About 5 minutes passed, they shut off the alarm sound, so we can all get back in again. I think it's probably a prank. But in the situation like this really makes me wonder what if Conrad's not home, I hope that it won't happen again anytime soon. I should probably pack an emergency kit so that I can run out the door just as fast.
