H1N1 Vaccination

We took Chloe to get her first H1N1 Vaccination, and she was crying when Conrad held her down, after the shot, she walked out there like as if nothing has happened and said "let's go, bye-bye". Some other people were smiling, and many other kids were waiting for their turn. There is a list of high-risk people gets the priority this week to get their shot. Children between 6 months to 5 years old are among the list. They need their second shot in 3 weeks, geese, not that looking for the second one. Any vaccinations gives children flu-like symptons, and of course, Chloe's running fever around mid-night, lost appetite at dinner time. So, I had to skip work today, but the whole day really gets me exhausted. Conrad and I were already up on and off throughout the night, and the whole day, her tempature remains high even she has medicine in her body. she threw up in bed, I have to do all the beddings, clean her up, bath her. It's never fun when your kid is sick, but we know the vaccination will keep her somehow protected from the pandemic that is killing healthy people.
